For me, Junior High was 7, 8 and 9th, until I got to the 8th grade and they told us starting now, the 9th graders will be at the high school. Totally killed my senior-itis status I was about to have once I made it to 9th. Suddenly I was a freshman again.

But now there was no higher grade in that school than the eighth, and you were in it. Didn't you feel suddenly promoted?

No, the 9th graders were still there. They made the decision during my 8th grade that beginning in the fall 9th would to go high school. I don't think i made that clear. sorry

I was in that 7th to 9th grade group.... before Junior High became Middle school. This was in Montana.
We moved east in 1976 and lost track of how things are done there now, truth be told.... but our sons did the Middle school thing in PA.

School was not the highlight of my life. When I graduated, I went to work for awhile before I went to college. For the most part, college was a much better experience. I still hated school, but the atmosphere and the idea I wasn't tied to the building all day made it much more acceptable. I was and still am one of those people who freeze on tests. I knew the information, just froze on tests. There is probably a diagnosis of some sort for that these days. My medical courses were awesome and held my interest from day one. Those were the first classes I actually enjoyed and excelled at.

What the heck is a reptile dysfunction??? I keep hearing about it on the tv thingy, but I never see them show a lizard or snake. I'm very disappointed.

They aren't allowed to show the lizards and snakes on TV.

Late night cable, maybe, but...

Damn it. I have the worst luck with remote shutter release cables. I either lose them or break them. Tonight I went out to shoot tour helicopters crossing the moon, and realized I'd lost yet another.

Is a coinkydink an inkydink shared by two people or parties?

coinkydink =
Coin, money
ky, a lubricant
dink, dual income, no kids

So, coinkydink is a money-lub for a couple with no kids.
