it looks much smaller than the manual focus model,i have the 14mm in 2 mounts and i love them both. i just don't see the need for autofocus on a wide lens,99% of the time this lens will be at f8 and infinity anyways, i use my 14mm nikon mount with an adapter all the time, its my go to lens for wide, and its at f8 or smaller and infinity all the time,i even use it in crop mode for a different crop. i have used for astro what i know about astro anyways haha, the new lens looks great but af seems like a waste to me. ill wait for a image stabilized f2 135mm then ill get excited haha.

I dont care AF, nice bonus. Especially since it looks quite smaller than the manual version which is unlikely when AF is added?

i want that lens in FE mount

The lens elements actually protrude into the body and are mounted right up against the sensor so not quite so easy to make an FE mount version.

The FE 35 f2.8 is very good though!

Forecast is good, here's hoping for a nice sunset

Looking forward to what you shoot on your trip Eddie....particularly Disney :-)

Using the new to me MagMod MagSphere as diffuser, I like the way it works; still put a layer of packing material inside but very easy to use, collapses for storage
and great even light dispersal.

I have 1DXii. It does not have the DR of the A7Rii.
Just received 5Dsr couple of weeks ago knowing 5Div coming out soon but knowing the sensor was not going
to be anywhere near the 50.6 of the 5Dsr so no interest.
What I'm waiting on now in the EOS world is the 7Diii since the D5000 is better in several ways.

I have high hopes that the 5D V will finally catch up to the a7R II dynamic range. :)
