Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Adrian, I love Nifty but he doesn't belong to me. He's the European Nifty from this thread. I just have him for a month or two so he's adding to my weight - just by a little. This lens is so sharp but it has now been replaced by the STM version which I believe is even sharper. I may buy one after Niftly moves on.

Why don't you sign up for him? You need to find the last list and add your name to the bottom, here it is: https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=18091188.

Thank you, Annie. I haven't even known about such an opportunity. I'm afraid to apply because, knowing myself, later I would like to buy one ;-)a

I like the color one myself!

I agree. Colour version in that case works better for me as well.

Well, the good thing is that it's probably the cheapest Canon lens you can buy!

Annie......if you have a dehaze function in your PP software you might try that with regard to the background peaks. Although in saying that it's kind of neat the way the haze sort of helps isolate the foreground peak.

Hard call......but it would help to see both versions.

Great picture.....as always.
