I moved to the x1 system after purchasing the xplor 600. I ditched my yongnuo flashes and went with Flashpoint ( two lion and two standard zoom R2). I used the xplor several weddings ago and loved it. I ususally try to go back and make use of a couple of misfires as object lessons, but couldn't find any.

Yesterday I brought the fresh-out-of-the-box zoom units as a second shooter. I started with the two lion versions figuring I would start with those and move to the batteries later in the day. Well, after 12 hours the batteries were still reading full. I mostly bounced flash but a couple of times I wanted to go off-camera so I just set one to master and one to slave. Easy Peasy! Definitely worth the switch imo.

I'm just wondering why in the world would Adorama charge shipping fees on the ONE Flashpoint seedlight?

Flashpoint Zoom Li-on Manual R2 On-Camera Flash Speedlight (V850II)

ALL of the other Flashpoint speed lights include free shipping. What gives? -?

The answer: because the extremely low price point does not give any wiggle room to also cover the shipping costs!

Thank you for checking into it Helen. But I have to question: The $20 difference between the $79 "Flashpoint Zoom R2 Manual Flash with Integrated R2 Radio Transceiver", and the $99 "Flashpoint Zoom Li-on Manual R2 On-Camera Flash Speedlight", isn't enough to cover the Li-on battery???

I'm sorry to say but that's bad decision making and marketing.
