Great images! @Filam and @sidnee nice "macro" shots! Good to see what this lens can produce in capable hands @ close distance . I love the kingfisher too!

A low light shot off a Squirrel taken under a canopy of trees with a hint of sun perfectly on the Squirrel handheld and autofocused between the leaves well. A great lens.

Some awesome shots on this thread. After much research I finally pulled the trigger on a slightly used copy I found on F.M. I usually shoot landscapes with a Sony a7r but my wife wants some bird shots for the wall. I also picked up a used Canon 1d3 to go with this lens and my Canon 70-200 f4 as there were not many telephoto options for the a7r. I hope to post some photos as soon as I can get familiar with this gear. I should of never sold my Canon 40d but the 1d3 seems sweet.
