Heya,

I went through your link to see the whole series. I liked them. I like seeing ultrawide and full depth of field employed more, as it requires attention to everything down to the minute detail and takes control. Good lighting. I like the shallow DOF used in the busier more public places, or amongst the foliage with lines. Everything looks great to me. Looks like likes of utlrawide was used, did well to keep them within a composition that didn't let them stray into a corner and it looks good.

Very best,

Composition looks good. For the shots in the sun, you've used lighting on the telephoto shots but not the others, correct? I think you did a great job posing them so you'd get the best angle you can with the sun, but I'd want some supplemental lighting on my subjects when it's that sunny.

Your blog post is very well written, btw.

Really nice work. Great captures, you have captured that sense of joy and happiness in this couple.

My eyes went to a halo around the groom and a blurry edge surrounding the bride (different pics).. Cropped below. In some of the pics it's really noticeable. On the dock picture it looks more like a gradient blur was applied than a 'natural' DOF effect.

That being said, if I were the client I think I would be delighted with your product.
