If its for a real job shoot for an Audi advertise, ok..

But most of the time i see people complain about the backgrounds. Now the background is killer and i hear people complaining its too prominent.

Im not pointing my finger at you by my statement in saying that a lot of people in this thread are very hard to please, but there is generally very few positive comments to a lot of fantastic pics here. Its not like that for example in the Sony A7x lounge thread.

Just saying, because i find that R8 shot is amazing!

I see what you're saying, but I bet if the sky wasn't like that you wouldn't care for the shot. I also agree that the sky is the only thing going for that photo. The car needs to be lit properly to pop.

When it comes to car photos the car should always be the subject. The background should be a close second but only looked at after the initial view of the car.

That R8 photo in particular is quite boring in my opinion. The car is dead centered and the camera is at eye level. The sky looks excellent. Remove the car and you have a sweet sky shot.
