Hi all,

Here is last night's view of the Jupiter-Venus-Mercury conjunction above Brisbane city and the Story Bridge. It was a great view! These are both HDR images taken with a 6D and 24 or 35mm lenses.

The second one is actually featured on the front page of Spaceweather today :-) (see http://www.spaceweather.com …day=27&month=08&year=2016 (external link))

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Super & congrats!

My view of the conjunction was a rainy tropical storm series of clouds.

Very best,

Very nice. Congrats on the SpaceWeather.com cover page!
Nice that the clouds moved outta your way for the later shot.

That's a great shot! And fortunate that the clouds (from your earlier shot) decided to clear out instead of getting worse.

Is the bridge always so colorful? Or does Brisbane go all-out for planetary conjunctions! I don't believe I've ever seen such colorful bridge lighting. That's awesome!
