It's been a while since I shot with this lens. This visitor gave me a reason today.

Continue to be impressed by this lens - got the dock for it during the week - does any body have some guidance for adjusting it - is there some recommended changes ?

I notice in the displayed data - it is showing canon 100-400 (a lens I have never owned) - possibly from the processing in photoshop when I did the lens correction bit in camera raw - I did not specifically choose a lens - and looks like it has made its own mind up on what lens it thought I was using -? - the focal length alone on the first one shows it was not that lens - and the first one was also handheld.

That is a bug in the forum software. The Sigma 150-600 C always comes up as the 100-400, so you have to edit the metadata for the photo. It is very easy to do. When you open your photo in the forum, you are given the opportunity to make changes to the metadata and you can correct the lens then.

Great shot Tim, The Siggy does a great job with close ups at the same time offering a great working distance with out scaring them off.

I have C1 set for Dynamic OS and standard focus speed. C2 for Dynamic OS and fast focus speed.
It never comes off C2.
I MFA in camera, so have not fooled with that in the lens software.

I spent part of yesterday chasing butterflies, primarily the part of the day that didn't include wind. Here are a few shots taken with the 150-600mm (c) with the 70d and an extension tube.
