TTL metering is a tool. As mentioned its especially useful for events.
One thing to consider: TTL strobe can be used in Manual mode.
Manual strobe can not be used in TTL mode.

I'm so jealous of you guys!!! Beautiful work! You guys inspired me so much so that I bought the fp 360 ttl. I got it through 2 day shipping! I checked Wednesday and it said package left at front door. Guess who lost my flash!! :(
Now I have to "wait 10 days" get get the results of their investigation.

Did you want the clouds to look like horns or was that just bad luck? :-P

Nice use of the 600. I've found that a bare speedlite is a good fill source
