It's one part bar, one part cinema. They also have some live music and swing dancing on Friday nights. Use to be the AMC Mainstreet theaters.
The shadow on the left is the H&R Block building.

Question for all of you if I can. I've asked something similar in the past so please forgive me.
Visit KC has asked for me to do some photos for them and they want me to sign a contract. Anything I should look out for?

Thanks,

Mike

I did that back in June. They're great to work with. They mostly want people in the photos - people out and about enjoying the city. So, I shot most of my work with the Sigma 20mm f/1.4 Art lens on my a7R II. PM me if you have any specific questions you'd like to discuss.

Not sure if you can recognize it but this is the building directly across from Union Station. So many storms lately but luckily the sun poked through at just the right time to afford me this image.

Congrats, Mike!
I think the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) website has some info on contracts. ASMP has an active chapter in KC.

Moments after the last post I stepped back about 50 yards to line this one up. There has been so much rain lately that things are getting a little out of hand. The puddle of water in the frame is one of my favorite things about this image. Thus the title.

Excellent on both. The first one throws me a little. Where at the Nelson Atkins?

Previous shot is a close-up of Ursula Von Rydingsvard's "Three Bowls". Here's the whole enchilada.

Like shooting fish in a barrel I suppose but it's nice to have one in your portfolio. Aerial KC.

I wanted to catch the Apple Store in its new location before the grand opening.
