Just picked up a M3 for the wife. Dramatic improvement over the original. M4 should just add DPAF and you'll be all set.

Canon needs to get off their but and slam out some decent primes.

The EOS M3 sounds like on to keep an eye on?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I want it (M4) to have a built in EVF. Why should I have to lose the hot shoe when using the EVF? Canon could make a really good mirorless camera if they wanted, the M3 seems like a big sensor point and shoot to me.

I took a quick trip up to Yorkshire with Elaine, she wanted to test out her new Sony RX10iii.

I thought that I would just take along my M3 kit, as it doesn't usually get used seriously over my SLR kit.
Actually, whilst it has its limitations, it can take a pretty good snap!

Here a couple from the early hours of this morning.

Beautiful shots! Not bad for a "big sensor point and shoot" eh!

It's weird for me to take these kinds of images at any time besides magic hour. I have trouble shooting with the M3 simply because I can't hold it steady without having my eye up to a viewfinder. I guess it's time to buy one for it :p

These are static images, my comment comparing the M3 to a point and shoot has to do with how slowly it handles, any camera can take a static image.
If you tried the competition in this space you would understand how much better the other mirrorless cameras perform.
