Nice shot, too bad about the hook.

At Tavernier, FL, the staff de-hooks pelicans. They attract them with food, then grab an affected bird and dehook while dozens of worried birds look on.

Different game... But I recall attending an AFL (Australian football) game, and a player wearing a helmet (unusual in AFL they are kinda like boxing helmets) got hit SO hard it flew off.... for a split second I thought his head had been knocked off.

My new 5DIV gets here next Thursday. It will be interesting to compare with the 7D2 for long shots, cropping 30mp versus the crop.
