Why, thank you . . . Some things were in my favor. A sluggish insect (resting after the pupa stage) that I could nudge onto a white card, a moderately overcast sky at noon, a solid wooden surface for bracing the camera.

Nevertheless, it is a great shot given that you were using a G15.
