Can I ask which Kenko TC you used?

I just get error messages using 2x Kenko teleplus pro 300.

Kenko Pro 300 DG. Not sure if that's the same as you or not.

Thanks. Same one. I'd heard compatibility varies depending on TC firmware, seems it's true.

After playing with the dock I think I get as good pictures at f6.3 as with f8, so for me you get better result adjusting the C with the dock and you have better bokeh.

First is with a little sharpening in LR, but no more than if it was taken with f8 at 11 m

Second its with standard sharpening in LR and at approx. 14,5 m.

Reddish Egret at Bolsa Chica wetlands. This marks the first opportunity I have had to photograph one in flight.

I want to thank you all for looking at my shots and commenting. I have just started my new (rehire) job and have not been on the site
since my last post. I am a little challenged as to how to respond to comments days after they have been made (maybe someone could explain how ) I just want you all to know how much I appreciate the comments and I should be back on regularly in the next few weeks.
Regards
Tim

Hi Tim, glad to see you posting again.

Best way to respond to comments is via the "Quote" button just below and the far right of the post you are replying to. (as I did here)

There is not really a direct way to reply to a "like"... so a normal reply is fine.

Love that Egret flight shot! Really superb!
