I gotta get my ass back out there this weekend.

I have plenty of great leading lines from LAST week. But nothing new (and therefore eligible for this week's challenge).

You sure did. Beaches are great for leading lines!

A bird on a limb, bug on a branch, babbling brook, there are always endless leading line possibilities. One reason I chose this theme was to encourage us to look for these things that are everywhere, but may escape our notice. And if you can't find a leading line, it's easy to contrive something.

OK...here is my entry for the week...lots of leading lines...had a client commission an image for the Atlanta Skyline...and when you live in ATL, there is one place you shoot...this was it...from tonight. I know we had one of these already and I remember picking it as the winner for Motion...yeah I like these kinds of shots...I plan on re-editing this at some point, but it will take hours upon hours to finalize it...so for now a normal edit will have to do.

That shot's on my must-get list. I imagine there are always photographers shooting on that overpass. Good parking nearby?

I've got a shot in the bag from yesterday. Just need to get a minute to process it and I'll post. Hopefully by that point there will be a good bit of chat between trivis shot above and my post so that people can't see them together as that's a stunner!

If you get the itch give me a shout. The bridge was full of people last night. Not great parking but there are options if you get there early which i strongly advise.

My plans for a leading line yesterday didn't quite pan out. Going to try and improvise something today locally (meaning, around the house). So my hopes aren't very high.
Some great work by you guys!

As promised here is my non-competing participatory entry for this week's theme:

I used some processing to help try to sell the leading line in this one. I deliberately darkened the foreground so that the driveway would become gradually brighter as it neared the house - it meet the house just where the sunlight is brightest. The brightest part of an image is typically where the eye goes, so the driveway is leading the eye to that point.

I'm glad money isn't involved in the SWPT 'cause I can't compete an your all's level.
But I can still try.
Last night we got on the road around 9pm-perfectly clear skies at the cabin. Drove an hour to the Carver's Gap trailhead, Then
a four mile round trip to Ber's Rock on the Appalachian Trail. Of course by the time we got there (I don't hike fast in daylight much less
in the dark) the hurricane's clouds had arrived. Adding to the fun, it was 47F and 15-20 mph wind But still fun and got a bit of exercise in for the Weekly challenge :)
Poof has her hand on the leading line :)

A unique take on the theme...very cool. I have tried that torch shot before and NEVER had any success at it.

Well, here is my submission. I was deciding all week which one of the shots from vacations I should submit.

I decided on this one from Gibraltar
