Its probably PMI Digital. They are an authorized Canon dealer and they're the only US seller accepting preorders.

Not them, they want full price.

Canon Price Watch had a deal that has been fulfilled. They did not want to reveal the dealer however.

That is true, but EBAY had a 6% rewards program which I took advantage of. That's $100 off plus 1.5% rewards for using my Credit Card. =)

Saved $146.00 and some change and I don't have to worry about being on a wait list, not bad.

So on a side note... could you imagine being one of the testers of the 5D4. Having this camera in your hands literally months before the announcement. There is NO way I could contain myself lol

77 Pages lets not lose focus on whats important. In roughly 72 hours 10s of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of 5Dmk4's will be delivered to the hands of early adopters so that way the world can see spectacular new photos of cats and dogs.

And the gratuitous underexposure/push tests, etc., along with cussing, gnashing of teeth and the predictable "I'm dumping my Canon system and going to Nikon/Sony/Fuji" fulminations will commence in full force.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Don't forget keyboards, soda cans, and ducks.

I got an amazon visa a long time ago with the specific intent on using the rewards for the Mark IV. I have spent enough that I have $178 of credit on my purchase.

However, at Amazon I pay tax, so I ordered both through B&H and Amazon. Ordered through B&H on the 25th and ordered through Amazon on the 1st.

Hoping the B&H arrives on the 9th and will have time to canx the Amazon order. If they ship simultaneously, I simply return the Amazon order.
