lapino Senior Member More info | Might've asked this before, but since an a6300 is reserved for me at the shop, I need to decide asap. Using an a6000 since launch and pretty happy with it, but longing for better high ISO performance, better low light AF and better EVF. So the a6300 appeals to me but it's a big amount to spend for what 'seems' a small upgrade. Anyone switched and regretted or the other way around, loved it? http://www.flickr.com/photos/23660915@N07/

Aug 26, 2016 06:59 | #203 I had the a6000 and switched to the a6300 and have no regrets. It's better in every facet IMO. Sony a7R3a/a6300/ 16-70/4 / 70-200/4 G / 12-24/4 G/ 24-105/4 G /Sony HVL-60M

lapino Senior Member More info | Aug 26, 2016 08:21 | #204 Tried one at the store today, and also tried a Fuji X-T1. Man that Fuji felt good. I decided to hold off a bit and see how the X-T2 is received in reviews before deciding whether to go for the A6300 (and thus stay with Sony) or get the X-T2. In a perfect world I'd get the A7R2 but it's too expensive for me. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23660915@N07/

Eddie xpfloyd lookalike More info Post edited over 7 years ago by Eddie. (2 edits in all) | Aug 27, 2016 05:00 | #205 Lapino - I briefly tried the a6300 alongside my a7rii and then returned it as I also had the x100t at the time and decided i didn't need 3 cameras. I've since sold the Fuji and really want another a6300 but the problem is they are now £150 more expensive than they were a month or so ago (probably part due to Britains vote to leave the EU and partly due to the shortage due to the earthquake in Japan). So I'll hold off just now. What I did quickly realise though is that the AF on the a6300 is probably a tad better than the a7rii which is already brilliant. High iso is not in the same league but it is still very good. It's a seriously good camera for the price of you consider its 1/3 the price of an a7rii. Not sure if any of that's of use to you but thought I would mention Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

(3 edits in all) | Sep 06, 2016 17:03 | #207 The Sony a6300 + Canon 100-400L lens make a great combo for me to shoot hummingbirds with. Focus is fast using the Metabones IV adapter. I used AF-C mode and wide AF. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

The pattern in the background is caused by a decorative design in my cinderblock wall and sunburned bush at the bottom of the frame. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

I still need to hide the tubing and wire better, do some more decorating and probably raise the bamboo 'bridge' a bit more somehow to get some splash going. The "flagstone" rock is at a slight angle and keeps the water shallow. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||
