it really depends on what lenses you have.
If you mainly have EF lenses then the 6D would be the obvious replacement.
wouldnt make much sense to mount lenses like 11-24 L or 16-35 L IS on a 80D

I have the 70-200mm, 24-105mm, 14-70mm, 100mm macro and a nifty fifty. I like the idea of a Full Frame as that's what I was used to with my 5D MKII.

I like the idea of more focal points with the 80D, but I don't know if more is better. The one strength the 5D MKII was low-light photography. It looks like the 6D would be a better choice for that reason as well.

Thanks

I think I would have gone with the 80D too but I am currently holding out for the full frame version of the 80D: i.e. the Nikon D750 one upper.

Holding out? For what? The 1DXII was released a while ago.

Well the thought was a 6D2, but seeing how the 5D4 just barely one-upped the D750, I now feel pretty confident that the 6D2 will still not compete with the D750.

Why would you need more focal points for landscape? I do primarily landscape and love my 6D.
