congrats man, now you need to take a photo with the lens cap on and push it 10 stop in post so we can all tell ourselves how much worse the DR of this camera is compared to our sony/nikon brothers :P

All the pros these days underexpose by at least 5 stops and push it in post, it's only us Canon shooters with our 'outdated sensors' that need to actually expose properly.... :p

Don't have time to play but I did notice that it is lighter than my 5DIII (sold it last week).

QUOTED IMAGE

Fitting first photo, as it best describes this camera, no?

May be because it will be 9/8 in Japan ahead of us?

Nope. Canon USA doesn't go by Canon Inc timezone. Maybe they can ship it early but can't be in customers hands until after 9/8. Oh well, so as long we get it.

CMON' MAN!!?!?!?!?!!!.... A DOG????

It's suppose to be a cat for the first photo.

This dude wins... Pete got first 5D4 by consumer photo posted to the thread!

Dog is the better turn of events here.

I told her what I wrote...

she's just more concerned I told her I was buying the 5D4... deal with it lol... been a rough few weeks with that comment. She got snippy with me but reminded her how we have spent over 15k in house upgrade and 10k on vacation the past 6 months alone.

that'll shut her up :) well and the fact she is getting a new living room floor in three weeks.

She gets my paper even in the middle of winter and is overjoyed to do it, so she gets the first picture.
