We had hoped for a nice sunset but clouds rolled in.
Thoughts?

I think you did a good job, but I think it might be nicer if it was 0.5-1 stop brighter.

Use Lightroom or Photoshop tools to brighten their faces and burn down the bottom of the image a bit and your home.

Sun was still up but a storm blew in and the cloud created that sunset effect before the actual sunset. :-( was a great day up to that.

Yes, bit too late... The clouds should be on fire. With some selective dodge and burn you could resurrect this image into something really nice; right now it look SOOC to me.

Your strobe needed to be higher too. Less dress, more people.

I agree with the comments regarding lighting; maybe just a tad brighter.

I like the composition with the exception that it appears to be leaning ever so slightly to the right...
