Well there it is, The first picture of 5D4 has arrived. I guess it's time to go over to the lens forum and bash the 16-35 III until it arrives.

No Image Stabilization! Are you kidding me? Why even bother with a MkIII?

;) :)

IMO an articulating screen is not appropriate on a pro or semi-pro body. I'd be more hating if it had one than not.

I used to think that way. The first time I spend a night of astro photography imaging contorting my neck and back trying to see the screen and or viewfinder changed that thought process for me. Same with macro work.

A properly designed operating menu with thouch screen would be able to eliminate the buttons on the left where the hinge would go. And if you don't want to flip it out because you are 'too pro', you could just leave it alone.

yep, quite a few applications for the articulating screen, astrophotography, landscape, overlay and overhead shots

someone said to me just use wifi and your phone, but that's just more unnecessary battery drain

I love the articulating screen. Sold a 6D for the screen and AF system of the 80D. Will buy a 6DII sight unseen IF it has the screen....if not, I will stick with the 80D. It's that important, IMO.

Thanks for the link. I'm interested in how much I crop with the mp's it has. There was a good example. More to come soon I hope.

Here's a RAW file provided from this photographer's site (external link).

I downloaded the latest DPP using my 5D3s serial.

With this file, the Bokeh Shift is not that big a deal. Hopefully we can get better implemention ala video focusing. If that's even possible with a firmware update.
