Upgraded from Lightroom 5.7 to 6.1 and now I got an annoying bug. It is when I use local adjustment brush. I can do a couple of adjustments but after a while the brush becomes inactive and cant do any more adjustments. The only way to get it work again is to quit and restart Lightroom. Any way to solve this issue permanent?

Do you have GPU acceleration turned on? If you do, try turning it off, it seems to help with a lot of this sort of stuff. If you want to keep GPU accleration turned on then you might want to ensure that you have the latest drivers installed.

Hi,

The GPU acceleration is turned off. Cant activate this function because I use the incompatible Mac OS 10.8.

Does this happen whenever you use the brush, even if it is the first adjustment you make? If you have many adjustments, LR has to constantly refresh the screen and reapply the adjustments to the preview image you are seeing. As that list of adjustments gets long, things slow down. In a pixel editor the adjustments are baked in as you make them, and don't have to be re-done. In LR, the program has to apply all adjustments to the preview every time the image is altered, as I understand it.

You might try upgrading to the latest version of LR. We are on 6.6.1 now.
