I drive by tunnel view twice a day, every day and finally got out of my car to take a photo. It's been a done a million times, but it's such a perfect image that you just have to have one to call your own.

Thank you very much! This lake is probably a good 20-25 minute drive on the freeway past Snoqulamie Falls, going into the mountain pass, and then just an 8.5 mile round trip hike through the woods. :-D If you ever find yourself back out in Washington, you'll have to check out some Snoqualmie Pass hikes! This lake was incredibly beautiful, and then another gem of Snoqualmie Pass is Snow Lake!

Oh i'll definitely be going back. I proposed to my wife last year at Skagit Valley during the tulip festival. (I took the photos of the engagement myself too.)
