Too slow do you think? Not my usual 'thing' but had to give it a go 1/8 sec

I like motion shots like that, but maybe 1/15 sec would have been better. (I throw a LOT of shots away!) ; D

I love it. The fact that the front of the car is a bit sharp makes it work for me.

I need to work on panning with a slower shutter.

I don't know. As long as you can show the element of speed (blurring of wheel spokes and background) I think you're getting the point across to the viewer. the faster the vehicle, the quicker the shutter speed you can use while maintaining that sense of speed.

Your shots IMO get that sense across well without sacrificing IQ.

'mizouse' these all look pretty good to me, 1st one especially as you have caught the rumble strip as well which adds to the motion.

I like the front sharp with some motion in the rest of the car like that. But try to be more aware of the background when you pick your place to shoot from.

Unfortunately the location doesn't have the best surrounding area. I was just happy I was able to turn and take three shots and one of them caught the car somewhat in focus.
