So I ran back outside with my 7D, 300 F4L on my tripod & gimbal and within a few seconds of sitting down, the feeder was swarming. I guess the water helped spread some scent of the seed around? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() https://flic.kr/p/LKnZnJ https://flic.kr/p/LKmsAA https://flic.kr/p/M4SHHH Dunno what's going on with this Jay! https://flic.kr/p/M2eo3C Very best, Fantastic series. flickr

My 7D and 400 fell off my truck seat onto the floor the other day, so now im worried that its not right. But i havent found anything to test it on lately. im sure its fine, just nervous. I'm sure it'll be just fine, the 7D and Canon L lenses are built like tanks. I had my 7D and Tamron 70-300mm sitting in my passenger seat when I was driving a few weeks back and I had to hit my brakes hard because someone had cut me off and the 7D went straight off the seat, hit the bottom of the dash and then landed with a thud on the floor. My heart stopped and didn't restart till I pulled into a parking lot and checked and verified that everything still worked just fine. <insert witty signature here>

Yeah im not too worried about the 7D, i know those are built like tanks. thats pretty much exactly what happened to me. Seems to be functioning fine. I shot some Ziess star charts and everything seems to be in order. Just very nerve racking. I know the dust pump can be iffy at times. It did land body first and then the lens hood caught the other end. AF works at all ranges. I tried shooting the moon tonight and it was a failure haha. I use a towel and the seat belt. Jeff ........, 7D, 70-300L, 100-400LII
