There seems to be a parallel level of weird group in the Tupperware thread. Maybe it's easier than you think.

Oh heavens no, I could never step foot in the Tupperware thread.

It is kind of a freak show over there. I hang out just to drum up business for the MMs.

How many weeks of vacation do you get over there?

I get 4 weeks of vacation every year. I usually find a way to use most of it, but I can carry a week over to the next year if not used.

In Australia, you get 4 weeks per annum. If you don't use it then you keep all of it untill you do - or quit and get it paid out.

I however, get no paid holidays (vacation) because i'm a contractor and get paid more to cover those expenses myself.

My job had a "Use It or Lose It" policy. I ~never~ gave away leave time. :-)

Is this a government thing where everyone gets 4 weeks? I know so many people who lose vacation days all the time as they don't use them. Fortunately I find a way to use mine.

There are a lot of places that still subscribe to that behavior. Yet if you request a day off, they usually deny it.

Lucky me, for living in Australia, I get to have a biopsy tomorrow, on possible skin cancer around my temple. Takes 6 days to find out ... Just glad it can't be melanoma.

I had to have biopsies on spots on my arms, and have stuff burned off my face. back, etc. Good luck.

Yep. We were on a July-June fiscal year. ~Everybody~ waited until June to request leave. And the denials were rampant. What a cluster. Glad I'm outta there.

Hope that thing doesn't have the battery (over)charging issue that's so in the news.
