I think my favorite 1DXii feature is the AF at F8. I spent the day on the shore shooting with 400 F4 DO ii + 2.0 TC ii. This setup is awesome for handheld BIF

my guess is that there is a way to make it work indirectly but that it technically may not do some of the things you want like assigning import defaults that you want

i don't nor have i ever used the Canon WFT-E8 but the files are clearly being transferred 'somewhere' - once you know where that somewhere is, Lightroom can be set up to monitor certain directories - and thus Lightroom would know the files are there and you could access them

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

My lame attempt at a Pano. 6 shots stitched is PS...hand held this. I was surprised how close it was. barely hand to crop. Now I can say I did the Seattle skyline
