100-400 II showing its stuff. Beast of a lens with this camera's sensor, wow!

I just posted this in Market Watch. I think it came out yesterday or today.

I bought my lens from B&H on 8/29, and my 5DIV from another vendor that hasn't been shipped yet, so the receipt will say the day it's shipped, but I don't think Canon will honor it. They receipt has to be with both items. I am e-mailing them tonight to ask if I can be an exception since the rebate form just came out and I already made my purchases.

Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!
5DIV, SONY a7iii, 7D2, G12, M100, M50, 5 L's & 2 Primes, 25 bags.
My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.

Amazing pics with the 100-400L II, as good as the 100L I would say!

Here's a pic of mine with 5D4 and 100-400L II

Yes it was raw,and I possibly could have, but I'm not investing any time in figuring out DPP. Once Lightroom is updated I may revisit these early shots.

My wife's 5d4 arrived last Friday and she hasn't even put a battery in it yet! It's killing me not to just take it and go shoot with it but it's her's.. I got my 1dx Mk2 and she got a 5d4. GAH!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
