Even worth forgiving the slightly wonky shoreline — Please feel free to offer your thoughts on how I might improve my images —

Thanks, glad you like it. This was our 2nd trip to Fussen, 2 years ago when we were there the fall was bypassed and the viewing areas were under repair so we had to come back to see it in action. Cupra

(3 edits in all) | Sep 20, 2016 14:22 | #8218 I recently got a 10 stop filter and had not, until today, experimented with it. In search of a little water here in the desert I went to the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. There I found a massive (about 10 inch tall) waterfall. "In God we Trust, All others we run through NCIC"

In search of a little water here in the desert I went to the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. There I found a massive (about 10 inch tall) waterfall. I setup the camera / tripod, manually focused, got a meter reading, and used my iPhone App to calculate the exposure. I was pretty happy with my experiment. I forgot to add in the 1.5 or so additional stop added by the circular polarizer but a little adjustment in Lightroom corrected the exposure. Who knew reclaimed sewer water could look so nice! Now I need to find a real waterfall! SunDevilPilot You dont need necessairily need water to experiment it. Just try some clouds, might be easier to find as the sky is everywhere.
