not a bad price to start. Let's see next year when price falls depending how good the camera will be. I'm interested without seeing any reviews yet!. As I'm not upgrading to the 5D Mk4, I could spend money in this.

Also, been wanting a nice bang for buck prime lens to combo with the M5 that isn't too bulky but has good IQ/bokeh to use with the ef-m adapter, anyone try the Sigma art lenses on the mirrorless yet?

I'm not sure if not bulky can be used in the same sentence as Sigma Art :p

I was thinking the same thing - all of their DG Art lenses are pretty big for their focal lengths. However, isn't the 30 Art small-ish?

It's smaller, but definitely not small. Isn't it an APSC lens? Funny enough, when I had a crop body I didn't buy any EF-S lenses because I always rather get EF lenses. There was no size or real price advantage to them and would be useless when i went FF. I do buy EF-M lenses though since I feel their tiny size but great IQ (and real good price) justify buying them.

Maokahn should look at getting the 22mm f2 which is an EF-M lens so no need for an adapter and it's tiny!

I already have the 22mm and the 11-22, they are amazing! I was just yearning for just 1 lens that I could pull out during special occasions. I suppose size isn't that big an issue but for example, I've tried the canon 85L on the original EOS M, that is just silly. Ive never actually held a sigma art lens either.

like everyone else, im praying canon makes some nice fast primes the the mirrorless series

I'm jealous, I'd love to get both those lenses! I think if the EF-M 15-45 was a fixed f3.5 aperture it would be the perfect walk around combo with the M3. Hopefully Canon start giving EF-M zooms faster fixed apertures.

The 50Art is a similar size to the 85L from memory. The 35 Art is smaller though. Then the 24, 24-35 and 20 Arts just get bigger and bigger - I'd say all of those would be similar in size to the 85L, if not bigger.
