Only my mom was allowed to call me loser! And most of the 10th grade. And my band teacher.

It's been a good day. Day 2 of "operation clean office" is moving along quite nicely. Much more room for my cats to flop and sleep.

I did that over the long weekend. Not for the cats, as mine are dead and no longer care about my office, but for my ability to fit in the space...

I'm saving the worst for last...the shelves. I hate shelves, but wouldn't have any place to put things without them.

To be truthful, I bought a scanner for photo's and negatives as my long lost passion for film has reared it's ugly head, and there was no place to put the scanner. So it's a win/win. I sort of forgot how big this room can be when it's clean and organized.

How about the piccolo player? They are usually pretty feisty. And that dude that tapped the triangle?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Eddie Listanzkey? He was my best friend. And we don't mention "the one who played piccolo". Obvious reasons, you understand.

I'm saving the worst for last...the shelves. I hate shelves, but wouldn't have any place to put things without them.

My office is covered in 3 walls with them. One full wall is all magazines, the other, using industrial shelving, is all old computers, floor to ceiling. Another is mixed junk. I can gut the place in between the shelves but rarely do I dare to do more than hint at cleaning the shelves themselves.

Scarier still is that I live in earthquake country. If I'm in my office when one hits they'll just put the tombstone on the house. They'll never find me and, if they do, they'll be cleaning me up with a bucket and sponge...

I sent my slide/negative/photo scanner to my dad to archive his 80ish years of non-digital images. I should ask how he's progressing one of these days!

You have me beat. I am looking at one wall for shelves. I have 2 desks. One is for personal use, the other is my office away from my office. I can log into my pc at work and work comfortably from home, so that desk isn't an issue. It's just the things that have somehow managed to creep in over the last couple of years.

I am hoping my film interest will be easily controllable. I have a few pentax, and a copy of my first slr, the ae-1 and then the last film camera i used in 90/91? The A-1. I also picked up that Mamiya rb67 to give medium format a try. Not sure how much I will actually shoot with film. I don't have a lot of time lately for digital

Meanwhile, progress is slow, but it's still progress!!!
