Fantastic detail Gene.
Wish we had your dry air here. Even on a clear night there is a halo around the Moon.

Thanks. It helped that the Moon was high above the horizon.

If and when I do try (and I want to with the 5Dsr) I think my odds are best when straight overhead, me thinking
5-6 miles of air is better than 50-70 horizonatal, you think?

Exactly. Although straight overhead is too hard on my neck so I usually shoot when the Moon is a little lower.

My little girl playing on ipad. Pitch black living room with only the light of the ipad lighting her face. Taken with the a6300 and the SEL50, sooc.

And one of the great things about mirrorless, I can put it on af-c and ask even a 6yr old to take a somewhat decent picture; so a portrait of yours truly... :)

These are nice. Like the lighting and tones. Is that the SEL 50 1.8?

And yes its pretty cool simple it is to hand the camera over and get a decent shot because of the AF system. I've taught my 8 year old how to use eye focus!

This is indeed with the SEL50/1.8. Very nice lens for the money imo.

This Costas hummingbird has discovered the bush near "his" feeder is a good spot to be on the lookout for interlopers.

Looking at this Hummer settles it, you need to pack a bag for Panama November.
Just perfect Gene and such a pleasure to view.
