I really appreciate it! I almost put "CC welcome!" but i wasn't sure if it was against the rules for asking for cc in a samples thread :)

I'm definitely brand new to senior picture posing and framing. I agree on the awkwardness of the arms. I'll try warming them some more. I also prefer warmer pictures. These were pretty cold to start, so I was worried if I warmed them too much, her skin tone would start looking pretty weird. I'll give it a shot though.

I've included a couple more below :) more cc is welcome :)

I like these even more! Like the cropping/framing of the legs much better here. I have no suggestions for improvements on these at all!

As for warming up the photos, yeah skin tones can get a bit wonky if you over-cook them. Sometimes, what I'll do is cook the image and then using the masking brush to highlight the subject and then cool the subject back down. But I have to really like the image before spending extra time/effort on it. :D

Never sure whether to put these here or in the 'extender' section - go for here because the end of the day it's THE best most versatile lens (in my opinion of course ;-)a )

Mixed weather for the weekend racing at Cadwell Park. All handheld with the 1DX, 70-200 2.8 mkII with Canon mkIII 1.4 ext

Must apologise for the photo overload - every time I go to choose a shot I see another I prefer - not easy to pick - so - just in case your REALLY bored, feel free to check out the rest over a coffee / lunch.

One of my first shots on the Mk ii. Not a phenomenal shot by any stretch of the imagination, but I wanted to see what the DOF was at 2.8 on close up shots. I like what I saw for sure.

I really liked the way this one turned out. The focus was spot on, the bokeh was fantastic on the flowers in the foreground.

I've been inlove with this lens eversince my buddy let me borrow his copy a couple of years ago and I finally got one this morning. Can't wait to try it out later on my son's flag football.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
