I'm hoping 25,800 will be usable, not that I expect to use it much, but shooting wildlife sometimes you need it to maintain high enough shutter speeds.
My 5DSR is not too bad at 6400 but the 5DIV should be better. (I'm picking mine up in an hour.)

Great shots! Just wondering on how the high ISO shots are on the 5dMKIV? Is ISO6400 any better than the 6D??Would love to see some high ISO shots, thanks!

This was with ISO 25600

Here are a couple of high ISO shots (inspiration from vk2gwk ^^). Both shots below are straight from in-camera jpgs without any post-processing except for some cropping. The crops are about 1/3 of the full photos.

ISO 6400

ISO 25600

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

Hey Pete!
Fellow Coloradoan here ߘ
Where are you finding coons at during the day? We have them in the yard at night down South of Denver... And bear and skunks too!

Thanks for the response Pete! I've been to the Arsenal. Nice shooting available there.
I'll keep an eye out for the raccoons next time!

That's a pretty accurate description of my ride, yes :-) Always being on the lookout for potential photo spots is the only thing that slows me down a bit (thankfully).

The first and second look really good to me, probably because that Tuono looks gorgeous. The first gives me the impression of lots of fun to be had, while the second is gorgeous scenery behind a gorgeous bike.

Taken at lunch time at Uncle Julios, very dark. I wanted to see how well the 5DIV would do with ISO 4000. No editing as I have not installed the DPP software yet. Noise level is very much acceptable. My son and grandson and granddaughter. Zayne just got his face painted for the first time. They went to the town fair. Good times. That is the chocolate pinata. Yum.

Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!
RF6 Mii, 5DIV, SONY a7iii, 7D2, G12, 6 L's & 2 Primes, 25 bags.
My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.
