I make sure to serve a good breakfast and lunch (in addition to snacks that are always out) when clients are in the studio for that very reason. Smelling the aromas that are coming out of the kitchen all day long and looking at lots of food can otherwise get a little distracting! Even when well fed, we often find clients and assistants in the kitchen looking for something extra to eat. My answer for most photography questions: "it depends...'
