Hello guys,

I have been wondering, is there a way (ex. a reciever, that can "understand" the E-TTL signal of the ST-E3-RT), to trigger studio flashes flash with the ST-E3-RT?

Now unfortunately I do not know how the Studio is set up, I only know, that it has a reciever for 2.4GHz transmitters...

Edit:

I found the solution.
Its the Yongnuo YNE3-RX

Another solution is the Phottix Laso TTL Flash Trigger Receiver suggested by Dustman

And YN ST-E3-RT, and YN 600EX... :)

I have been wondering if there is a 3rd party receiver that can trigger a the Studio flash.

I have been experimenting:
IF I set the ST-E3-RT to Linked Slave, and plug tha flash into the ST-E3-RT-s Jack "mount", and use the 600EX II as Linked Master on the camera, the studio flash will emit the flash, but there is a small delay,
that results in the camera taking the image, and the flash firing later.

If I set the camera to a longer exposure, say 0.5 sec, the flash is on the picture, if I have it at 1/125sec, the picture is dark.
So the camera is faster then the flash this way.

Yet a NON-ETTL reciever works fine.

So maybe there is a reciever, that "understands" the ST-E3-RT and can trigger a studio flash via the jack (cable).

Ok, I think I found it.

Its called Yongnuo YNE3-RX

With this, you can also use the Canon Radio E-TTL with older Flashes, AND you can trigger studio flashes with it.

Phottix just announced a strobe that will work with the Canon RT system. It ain't cheap though.

This receiver from Phottix can be plugged into any studio strobe via the 3.5mm jack and fired with the Canon ST-E3 remote.

You will Not have TTL or HSS, but it will fire it in manual, without having to buy another trigger, or to mix it seamlessly with your speedlights.

Thanks, will check this one out too, although I ordered the Yongnuo one, but if that is not statisfactory, I will get this one.
Thank you very much.

p.s.: I added this to the first post also, in case someone is searching for the same.
