Without going back through the entire thread, are there any landscapers here that have used the camera? And star shots?

Thank you for posting. What's that lens like? I am thinking about getting the upcoming 2.8 16-35 III for stars

Not sure if you are asking me, but so far the Zeiss 21 has been great. I'm gonna go out Saturday night and do some night pictures with this and the Rokinon 24mm. Hopefully it clears up before then.

Planning on heading out Saturday night for Milky Way. So far, my limited usage shows the camera's worth an upgrade from my Canon 5d Mark III

Late day shooting at higher ISOs and bad lights. I can hardly get out to do birds any more...

Last one is 1/5s at 600mm, handheld (actually rested on my knee while sitting.)

How do you find the AF performance with the Tammy??

I think it's really good, it's the best of any bodies that I tried with my Tamron, which is about 5-6 different ones (6D, 5D3, 70D, 80D, T4i, and 5D4. Plus Sony A7rII but that's different being mirrorless.)
The Tammy is obviously not a big white Canon tele, so Servo AF for birds in flight will never yield outstanding keeper rate, but the 5D4 is clearly the best. And the light wasn't optimal either.

Oh, and I'd just like to add that unsurprisingly the Live View doesn't work with the Tammy, similarly to my 80D. It needs to be sent in to Tamron for a firmware update. I've been too lazy to do that.

I'm sure at some point someone will ask why f2.8. Truth is this was just a quick test shot to look at composition. Ended up liking the composition better than the one i actually shot at f8.0.

Nothing fancy... taken from the stands tonight. The 1.4xII is actually really really good. Just had to correct some minor CA. I think I'll get the III for the better CA control and much better edges/corner performance.
