this one was a real challenge...from patience during the shoot to the edit...the evening had a myriad of sky conditions from clear, to overcast to storm clouds...it poured rain shortly after I packed it in...the edit was a real pain too...I thought I had a vision for it...watched some tutorials for the style and didn't connect with it...so I just did my thing...the variety of ceiling altitudes made for interesting color pockets...

love it ;P

what's the story of the Disney princesses you've been shooting? sorry if I missed it. at first I thought they were hired to cosplay for a birthday party hehe

Hehe so its for a company that you can hire to send princesses to birthday parties and events. Really talented group of girls too...most with some sort of performance background.

Wanted to ask if any of you all are on the a99ii train?
I'm studying a-mount lenses these days :)
I've got one lens that will live on it-the 70-400Gii
and have decided for a 'normal' zoom the Sigma 24-105, it will be rarely used
but needs to be in the FF a-mount bag.
For macro Tamron has released a new 90mm that looks fine.
All I'll need after those is a Rok 14mm in a-mount.

A99ii looks amazing, but don't want a DSLR at this point, but if I would go back to DSLR, a99ii is really amazing, puts Canon to shame.

...and Nikon too. Really looks like an exceptional product. Just amazed at how fast a 42MP camera can shoot. Might be the best birding camera on the market (thinking combination of resolution/fps/buffer size/AF system).

My initial worries were the lamo UHS-I slots but Brian Smith wrote 54 raw + jpg in a burst, but even better you can chimp any image taken instantly even before/or as the files are being written.
Well I was instantly smitten considering it is an a7Rii inside a wolf's clothing but I wouldn't call it a DSLR :)

Awesome clouds, Travis. Carlo, both shots are great. Nicely done.

Since moving back to SATX in 2012, I have not had an interest in shooting the Alamo. I guess I took it for granted. The other day I made it my goal to get some shots of it. Here are the results using the Loxia 21. I'll share two different crops of the Alamo.

I am selective of what I might post...and I do it in a place I feel ok doing so...and my daughter is gonna have a fit one day...but someone once reminded me that the day she graduates, or the day she gets married...she is going to have the most killer slide show at that event...and I will likely be a wad of emotional dad...I have not taken as many of her in the last 2 years since she clearly gets irritated with me...I need to get her over that and get back to it...I will regret it one day, she is growing up and I can't get those lost moments back.

That bold sentence right there, i hope that by the time i get kids i will be still interested in photography. When I look back to pictures and mostly videos when i was a kid, thats just gold. I would also try to make short videos as that really is like a time machine :D

That's what I thought. Disney should hire him.

Nice one Lee. Similarly I'm trying to compile a family album at the moment. I'm using Lightroom as it links with Blurb and has pre set page layouts etc. I'm doing retrospective ones at the minute back to 2013 (when Callum was born) and then plan to do them at the end of each year going forward. I saw the idea on Pinterest and thought it was a good way of doing it.
