A Black-headed gull in his Winter coat diving for fish. It's my favourite species of gull: small and elegant and very pretty, even now.

I got the Pelican in full glide mode here and it is the same one that is in the 2nd shot.
As it kicked the lower one of the 2 other birds in flight from where it is sitting now.
Those 2 in flight are in between young and adult Pacific Gulls.
They are fighting for a section of the light pole, even thought there would be plenty of room for both.
