I just shot an R/C Jet event last week & this is one that had everyone excited. One turbine flamed out just as it was about to lift off. You can see the raw fuel trail behind it. Fortunately the pilot was able to keep it in the air & make a landing without any damage.

Here's something from the R/C event you don't find at the local airport. These both fly in the 490-500 KPH range which is legal here in Canada. I've been told 200 MPH is the limit in the US but there isn't a speed limit here & these made several high speed passes each flight.
They are the Diamond from a company called Aviation Design. More info available here. http://aviation-design.fr/?rc-jet-model-diamond (external link)

When I saw the thumbnail in the Thread listing page I initially thought "Angel 1" from the Sixties TV show Captain Scarlet. Would love to see someone do a jet powered RC Angel Interceptor.

Don't know if that show was on TV in Canada or the US but I'm old enough to say it would have been in my youth to teen years but have no memory of it. I was able to find photos of Angel 1 using Google & can see why you think the way you do. Wouldn't be that far fetched to think a Diamond could get transformed to look like Angel 1 but they aren't cheap.
