what is the red car?

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.
Not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.

I've just traded in my 70D for an 80D. Still learning my way round those 45 AF points. Be interested to know if you folks use them all. Here's a first-day effort.

That's what I do. Focus and recompose. Which is a breeze with the back button focusing. If something is moving predictably, i.e. trains, I might move the focus point a bit. With something like birds I'd use the area AF or whatever it's called that uses all of em.

I upgraded from the 600D to the 80D during the summer. Still playing, not quite there with confidence with the camera.

I have the 80d and 7d
The DR and and IQ is great the dualpixAF is amazing
The lack of jstick drives me nuts
I used to use a lot of the 19 points of the 7d but now I find it hard to navigate
So rather than using the whole 45 I mainly use centre and recompose
