Thanks Steve she is doing much better. Monday she will get a microchip because I ordered a food bowl that will open only to the chip that I want. So Yari can take all the time she needs to eat and Luna can finally go on a diet.... sssttt don't tell Miss Luna that :p

I can Google to find the product but just for the sake of reference, could you provide us with the link to the food bowl?

My Mommy-O has been the pace-setter in our household. Prior to her arrival, Tiger used to eat his feed when he pleased, and sometimes turns up his nose when it became too old for him (merely an hour). Upon Mommy-O's introduction into the family, Tiger realized that when he snoozes he'd lose and now he finishes his share in one sitting. The late Mei-Ling and Lucy who followed Mommy-O quickly learned their lesson and would lick their bowls clean in one go.

Knowing Mommy-O, I doubt the smart bowl would work in our household (she would probably stalk other cats or turn the bowl upside down in her attempt to get to the food :-P), but I am curious to see how it works.

Thank you for rescuing - even though some may be skittish at first, they do know that they've been rescued and they'll love you for that fact.

Portraits from my kidz 12th birthday last Friday. I still remember when they could sit in the palm of my hand!

Zazu, 16 years old and I got her from a no-kill shelter when she was 6 months old...she was solid black but her chin and one paw are turning white with age. Her eyes change color constantly, which I adore! Plus her pal Taz, also 16, who was found at 5-ish weeks old, thrown in a dumpster. I've had her since then.

Lilly, ballanese 11 years old and small at 7 lbs. When she was a kitten she could crawl under our small freezer (about 2.5 inch gap). When we got her we had the cats Gil and Bill, both were 14 lbs. They were both ballanese.
