Was thinking about the 300mm f2.8L IS USM, Do you grip your 7D Mark II or just use a monopod?

I use a monopod, I don't have a grip but it would be nice so I can more easily shoot in portrait

Jason, nice shots! I assume that up to a certain age, NZ rugby is strictly weight-based? So, boys and girls can play in the same matches and presumably at some point, the weight, strength and speed become too different for it to be done safely?

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
