I gotta say that the two elder ladies (Senoras') are stunning - such character, and the colors in the clothing is equally impressive.


My Daughters two grandmothers. They were both amazing women as well, in totally different ways. Her maternal Grandma was the most warm friendly woman, she still plays soccer!

Her paternal grandmother (with the chicken) was likely the oldest person in all the neighboring villages by far. She lives alone, keeps chickens, ducks, and pigs, and does it all by her self with a daily routine that starts before sunrise. No one really knows exactly how old she is,. she forgets a lot, but her daily routine continues like clockwork. She is tough as nails :)

These two, would never be caught dead in anything other than the traditional hand woven (by them) dress.

Thanks, its a composite photo with a bit of artistic license The eerie light is just a product of colouring in photoshop. Its more digital art than straight photo.

PS my bird page sadly I cant add to as I have lost my email and password and cant get back in so it just sits there as it is :-)

Great pictures, i love the two of them side by side. The white in contrast with the black background makes the whole thing pop.
