Canon EF 70-200L/4 IS for both.
The first is more interesting for sure, but I would prefer it to be just a tad warmer.

Nice capture David. This is the Bexar County Courthouse in SATX constructed in 1896 and designed by architect J. Riely Gordon. The main material used was red sandstone giving the building a beautiful tone.
