And a few more.
I have some odd images taken here and there and depending on the situation I will try to post whenever I have the energy and mind in place. And thank you for understanding.

Glad your friend dragged you out for a little while Renata, a break for a short time will have done you good. Nice images too!

It looks like we did. We started the day with not a single cloud.

As you can see here in this 27 photo 180 degree pano. The far right of the photo is a glimps of the Calgary skyline and the foothills and the mountains to the west.

Like the others have said, it's great that you got out, Renata, and hopefully recharged your batteries somewhat. Nifty will do that for you! Hope things are better today - thinking of you often.

Those are all fantastic Renata. As many have said, I am glad you were able to get out. The Frescos are incredible, I hope that one day I can see them in person.

As I said earlier Nifty, my wife and I decided to drive highway 40. To get there one has to drive west from Calgary. We drove out on a smaller road that took us from the south end of the city west on hwy 22x that brings us to the small town of Bragg Creek(I will have shots of it later on another trip). Headed north to hwy 1 and then west. Before getting into the mountains you have to drive over a place called Scott Lake Hill. The view driving up the east side of the hill gives you a hint of what is to come.

After reaching the top and coming down the far side the mountains get laid out in front of you. For most this is the first close up look of the Canadian Rockies. They are kind of pretty.

This area is called the Morley Flats. Named after the Morley Indian Reserve that covers most of this area. Although it has struggled financially, they are starting to develop the area with commercial properties. The houses in the foreground of the mountains are all part of the reserve. It is sad the state that some of them get in.

About half way along this plain we reach highway 40. Heading south it doesn't take long to reach Kananaskis Country. Our first stop is at Canoe meadows, a popular spot with the more adventurous. They have a Kayak slalom course set up with poles hanging from wires over the river and they have modified the base of the river with 1500 tonnes of boulders to create whitewater features making it a world class facility. They are able to control the water flow through the section from the hydro-electric dam up river. At this time of year the water is very low and with nothing going on in this section it is very quiet and the water flow is incredibly low. The rock my wife is sitting on would have her feet in the water. That is about a meter or so above the current water level.

This does allow for the water to be really calm in some spots.

Beautiful shots, Trever. Thank you for your kind words.

Just to keep you all posted, after 10 days my husband was taken off the ventilator and is recovering slowly; still a long way to go but we are hopeful.
More shots from that trip
Entry totem of 6 shots pano and another view of the museum a 4 shot pano.
Will post some more later.

A few more odd shots from a few weeks ago. Shot locally in downtown Plano, TX on a trip to a restaurant. Nifty went out with us to eat in an Austrian restaurant
