Between cameras at the moment and didn't have anything, was trying to decide on something to hold me over. Looked at a variety of options then the opportunity to pickup the original M, 22, 18-55, EF adapter for $300 came up. I'll most likely sell the 18-55 and adapter and hopefully bring my costs down to $200. Then hand this down to my daughter in a few years. Figured for the costs, I'll be able to tolerate the sluggishness until the E-M1 II is released.

Who says the 24-105 can't still hold it's own?

Picked a M3 up used with some lenses and other stuff and got a chance to try it out. I am big fan of mirrorless and have been using Oly for a while but so far the M3 is working pretty good.

I still have a Canon EOS M with the 22mm and 18-55 lenses. Are these sought after anymore? I haven't been with Canon in a few years, and I see they've moved up the EOS M line. Wondering what to do with this camera collecting dust lol.

I'm sure that there will be plenty of interest. I only purchased my Canon EOS M + 22mm about a year ago, because I needed something reasonable, but small enough to carry on the bike.

Depends on price. I haven't seen any M's with kit go for more than $200 or so. For a long time there, M + 22 was a $180~200 deal and everyone loaded up. Now, especially with the M3 and others available, I don't see the M1 move very fast. I still use mine, even though I'd probably sell it at this point, but I like the wee camera and the 22 is a great lens. If you price your kit right, it will sell. Just depends on how much you're willing to take for it. For $150 it would sell as a kit. For $200 it may sell, but may sit a while too. Any higher and it probably won't sell. Just my thoughts.

Very best,

Just curious if anyone is REALLY excited for the M5? Personally, since it's being released in the winter and I don't shoot much in the winter my excitement level is kind of low.

Not excited since I have an M3. Not enough of an upgrade for me to want to invest into that body.

If I had the original M then maybe.
