A couple more random shots. Nothing done other than resizing for posting. The first is smoke from a forest fire. The second is what that smoke did to the sunsets around here although the shot was taken almost an hour before sunset. The orange and white spot near the center of the first image is a water bomber. Both from 2013. I'll get to some newer shots eventually.

A couple of nights ago I was lucky enough to finally see the Milkyway parallel to the horizon, witness bioluminescent plankton for the first time AND I finally managed to capture some purple in the Aurora Australis!

A moving ore train. Not moving fast, maybe 50 km/hr but moving none the less. I was about 20 feet to the side of the track when the shot was taken.
