I like the middle lady on the grey background best! They all look very professional. :) Do they choose the backdrop color/'style'? Or it is whatever you feel like doing that day?

On-location headshots this morning, 3 strobes, 5D3 + 90mm/135mm
No retouching, I figured I'd show the photos basically straight out of camera.

What modifiers or soft boxes are you using? And can you share how you places your three strobes?

Before the day of the shoot, I check if there's a preference for white/grey/black backgrounds. In this case, the clients didn't need any consistency, so I just mixed it up as much as I could in the 15 minutes I had with each subject. The only difference in lighting was turning the background light on/off. I kept a 3-stop ND on my 135mm so that I could quickly shoot around f2.8 while keeping my 90mm around f8.

Great job setting up in tight quarters! What is the stand holding your reflector? Did you engineer that one yourself?

looks like standard light stand with boom arm..

and that's not tight ;)

very surprised you don't have rubber feet when putting stuff on top of a polished table!

I weighed the risk and decided it was safer than trying to move the table. Besides, all my rubber feet were in my other camera bag.
